CRS Advogados attended the 20th Asia Private Banking & Family Office Summit in Shenzhen, which took place on 12 and 13 November 2025, represented by partner Raquel Galinha Roque and associate lawyer Cláudia Feliciano, where the topic of immigration was highlighted among families, investors and wealth managers.
CRS Advogados focused mainly on topics such as residence in Portugal and Portuguese citizenship, including residence permits for investment (‘Golden Visa’), other types of visas that culminate in residence permits and global mobility solutions, highlighting that immigration is no longer a one-off decision and has become part of multigenerational wealth planning.
The demand for international alternatives has been driven by objectives such as geographical diversification, legal certainty, educational access for new generations and mitigation of regulatory risks.
