The requirement of a prior relationship with the sending company, including minimum periods of employment before the transfer, reinforces trust and operational continuity, ensuring that transferred professionals are already familiar with the group\u2019s culture and objectives.<br><br>In Portugal, the ICT-EU framework reflects a concern for transparency and the protection of the labor market. The need for a formal agreement between group companies \u2014 specifying role, duration, workplace, and salary conditions \u2014 ensures predictability and legal certainty for all parties involved. The requirement that remuneration be aligned with national standards is particularly relevant, promoting fairness and preventing distortions in the labor market.<br><br>From an administrative perspective, although the process involves several steps \u2014 from applying for a visa at the consulate to formalizing the residence permit with the Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA) \u2014 it is a clear pathway aligned with common immigration practices. The possibility of mobility between Member States, albeit with certain rules, reinforces the logic of an integrated economic area, allowing companies to manage their human resources more flexibly and efficiently. This feature makes the ICT-EU particularly attractive for multinational groups operating in several European Union countries.<br><br>Additionally, the possibility of family reunification is a fundamental element in ensuring personal stability and well-being for transferred workers.
